The Data Express DE75 is a steel-constructed drive carrier and receiving frame for internally mounting a low-profile (up to 1"high) 3.5"form factor drive into any standard or undersized half-height 5.25"peripheral bay. The DE75 is available in models which support SAS/SATA 3Gb/s SCSI Ultra160 Serial ATA (SATA) or Parallel ATA (PATA) Ultra ATA/133 interfaces and in many cases is downward-compatible with drives from earlier technologies. Data Express 75 Parallel ATA drive carriers can be used with Data Express 75 Universal Serial ATA receiving frames allowing earlier-technology Parallel ATA drives to continue to be used with a Serial ATA system.
