Customer Reviews: Great for what it was designed for March 22, 2010 Strongwood (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
First, this isn't intended to be a "gaming" computer, but will play most things fine, but who plays anything elaborate on a laptop?
It does what it is desgned for, and does it well. I bought one at Costco for $799 for my wife, and she uses it for business and for internet socializing, etc. It is stable, it has a great looking screen, the 17" is really nice.
So, I bought one reconditioned from an Amazon seller for myself. It hasn't one scratch, absolutely perfect, and works for my forex trading, downloading off of Netflix to play on my plasma, and I couldn't be happier. I thought it was a great price at $799, and this is even better, just no 2 year warranty.
Good, but beware of broken buttons... January 18, 2010 David Van (Lakewood, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this at costco when it was $799 and it came with a broken backspace button... Didn't return it because the store I went to was too far. Ended up buying an external keyboard for this... Beware! better to build your own gaming rig than this... Also, this runs very HOT!
