Excellent Support - Product Quality Low August 30, 2010 Michael L. Williams The microphone had very low volume, on 2 PCs, camcorder & Sony dictation device. The phone and email support was top notch. They sent a replacement right away. The replacement mic was a little better but still low volume, and did not come close to the description in the video with the guy demonstrating it at the beach with a camcorder. I get much better results from a headset mic that cost me $5 less. Would suggest spending a little more for a good lavalier microphone. I didn't expect the best for $20 but expected it to be better. Returned for a refund.
So, this is the TWO-DAY shipping??????????????? August 18, 2010 Zhun Zhao (HOUSTON, TX, US) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this item on August 10th, delivered with two-day shipping. However, I haven't received it UP TILL NOW!!!!!!!!!
I am very angry with the service.
I will be expecting an official explanation on it.
worst mic ever August 14, 2010 redrover21 Ridiculously long cable this is a lav mic, its supposed to go to a wireless transmitter, no need for a 35 foot cable (it says 20, its really 35, I measured)
Low volume, don't listen to the bit about "mic boost" for computers, all that does it raise it from not audible at all to "barely audible"
this mic sucks, plain and simple.
Worked great for my purpose July 23, 2010 sooz (Houston, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used this microphone with a Kodak Z18. The camcorder was on a tripod, my subject was sitting on the couch and giving an interview. The playback is loud, crystal clear and I was very pleased with the end result.
This Mic is mono... July 20, 2010 James Kukral (Cleveland, OH United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Mic works great, but they don't tell you in the specs that it is mono, not stereo. You would think that would be in the bullet point features. So I plugged this in to my Kodak Zi8 to shoot videos, and it works great, except, my sound all comes out one channel mono. Not good. If this mic was listed as mono, I wouldn't have bought it. I need stereo. Other than that, it works fine.
